We've taken concrete steps to embed sustainability into the heart of our operations:
Sustainable Heating: Our biomass boiler and underfloor heating system in the Elizabethan Barn provide consistent, sustainable warmth, significantly reducing our fossil fuel usage and ensuring guest comfort.
Electric Vehicle Charging: We're installing EV charging points to encourage cleaner transportation for our guests and suppliers.
Planting for Biodiversity: We're enhancing the landscape of Copdock Hall with ambitious strategic planting schemes; our new native cherry tree avenue is the perfect example of how we're improving biodiversity and absorbing carbon.
Sustainable Replacements: We actively prioritise sustainable alternatives when replacing items, from lighting to furniture, minimising our environmental impact.
Transparent Policies: Our sustainability policies and goals are readily available online, reflecting our commitment to transparency and a greener future.

B Corp Certification: We'll embark on the rigorous process of achieving B Corp certification, demonstrating our dedication to social and environmental responsibility.
Living Wage Employer: We're dedicated to becoming a Living Wage Employer, ensuring our team are paid fairly and thrives.
SME Climate Commitment: We'll join the SME Climate Commitment, pledging to align our carbon reduction efforts with the Paris Agreement.
Food Made Good Standard: We'll strive for the Food Made Good Standard within 12 months, ensuring ethical, sustainable, and delicious in-house catering.
Locally Sourced Menu: We'll introduce a 30-mile menu, sourcing 80% of fresh produce locally - supporting our community and minimising food miles.
Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG): We'll achieve a 15% Biodiversity Net Gain across all Xenia Venues, actively contributing to ecological preservation.
Alignment with UN Sustainable Development Goals: We'll align our operations with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, working towards a more equitable and sustainable future.
